Special Invitation to AU Junior Members!

The American Racing Pigeon Union (AU) is proud to announce the 13^th annual Frank Greenhall National Memorial Youth Race.  The AU is the only pigeon organization that offers a national race for youth only.  We are proud of our junior members and are excited to recognize them for their participation.

The 2010 National Youth Race will be held during the AU Convention in Oklahoma City, OK.  The loft handler for this one-loft race will be Rick Mardis.  Race day will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 (weather permitting).

The race will be approximately 200 miles and is open to all AU junior members.

The application should be filled out and returned to the national AU office by no later than March 1, 2010. Once received, shipping details will be sent to you.

The handler, Rick, is well known in the pigeon racing community as the owner of Continental Breeding Station.Rick has a dedicated loft and will be handling only AU National Youth Race birds.  Junior members’ entries should be sent beginning March 1, 2010, directly to Rick (details will be mailed to you upon receipt of application). There is no fee for AU junior members to enter birds in this race.  Each junior member may enter one bird.

Each competitor will receive a certificate and the top ten will be mounted on a handsome plaque.  The top place will receive the plaque and a trophy.  Additionally, he or she is invited to attend the 2011 AU National Convention as our guest!

Please have the application signed by a parent or legal guardian and return it to the national office by no later than March 1, 2010.  As soon as applications are received, we will send notification advising of shipping details.  We hope you will participate and look forward to hearing from you soon!
