RACE DAY BUS SCHEDULE
9:00 a.m. - Shuttle leaves hotel to go to Continental Breeding Station for 13th Annual AU Youth Race.
10:00 a.m. - Bus leaves for lunch at World of Wings.
11:00 a.m. - Bus leaves for lunch at World of Wings, then on to the race lofts of your choice. Bus will run continuously between lofts throughout the day.
4:00 p.m. Final bus returns to hotel.
TOUR
9:00 a.m. - Board the bus at front of hotel (N. Broadway Ave.) - Let’s See Oklahoma City! – More than 100 years after the historic Land Run, Oklahoma City has grown from a town of 10,000 in a single day to a thriving metropolis with a population of more than 1,000,000! This group tour traces the story of Oklahoma City from its spirited beginnings.
You will see downtown featuring Kerr Park & Bricktown, Oklahoma City’s newest entertainment district boasting over 6500 restaurant seats, a state-of-the-art ballpark, sculptures, murals, canals for the Water Taxi, which offers a great skyline view of Oklahoma City.
You’ll stop at the Land Rush Monument, Oklahoma National Memorial, National Cowboy Western Heritage Museum and enjoy lunch on Persimmon Hill. The tour will also include a driving tour of historic homes in prestigious Heritage Hills and a tour of the Oklahoma State Capitol featuring colorful murals depicting OK history.
Ladies, once back at the hotel, we have a “girls only” treat planned for you! Join us at 7:00 p.m. for Massages & Margaritas! (Room to be announced at hotel.)

TOUR
9:00 am. - Board the bus at front of hotel (N. Broadway Ave.) - Get Your Kicks on Route 66!
This group tour will depart the hotel for Edmond, OK located on historic Route 66. Edmond’s downtown offers an eclectic shopping experience. Lunch is provided at Inspirations Gifts & Tea Room.
We’ll continue east on Route 66 to Arcadia where we will visit Pops, Route 66’s newest attraction, the 66 foot pop bottle outside is fast becoming a Route 66 icon! Purchase a soda from 400 varieties.
We’ll also spend time at an older attraction to Route 66, the Round Barn (built in 1898). We’ll end the day shopping along Western Avenue and the Paseo Arts District.
100th Birthday Celebration DINNER!
6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - No host cocktails
6:30 p.m. - AU’s 100th year celebration dinner and show. It is going to be a fantastic birthday party! Let’s toast the past and the looking to the next 100 years.
